From the moment, it was announced and launched, the Madhavan-Shraddha Srinath starrer Maara has had a lot of expectations around it. The first look of the movie was released on October 9, and we have to say that it doesn't give out much about the movie, but yes, it has made us curious and interested as to what the movie is all about. Filmmaker Dhilip Kumar, who directed Kalki, which streamed on Netflix, is the man at the helm of this film as well. he has written this film along with Bipin Ragu. Ghibran who has gives us some soulful melodies has composed the music for Maara as well.
The first look poster has lots of visual significance involving the presence of lead characters and a distant view of a lady in portrait mode. It also comprises two different scenic backdrops of a beach and a mountain. With such a creative appeal, all these elements assure that they have a substantial connection with the story.
The rest of the crew included Thamarai who has penned lyrics, Bhuvan - the editor. cinematographers Karthik Muthukumar-Dinesh Krishnan B and art director Ajayan Chalissery. Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa of Pramod Films have produced this film.
Music rights of the film have been bagged by Think Music.
The romantic tale laced emotional and surprising premise will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video from December 17, 2020.
